CPU

What is a CPU?

The CPU (Central Processing Unit) is the brain of the computer. It is responsible for executing instructions, calculations, and managing the tasks that the system needs to function

Key parts of a CPU

Cores: Each core can execute tasks. More cores = better multitasking.

Threads: They are like "mini-virtual cores." They help handle more tasks at the same time (especially if the CPU has Hyper-Threading or SMT).

Frequency (GHz): The speed at which each core operates. More GHz = faster performance on individual tasks.Cache: Ultra-fast internal memory that stores temporary data. It helps improve performance.

TDP (W): Thermal Design Power. It influences how much energy is used and how much heat is generated.

this is the cpu that I have chosen:

Intel® Core™ i5-12400F, processor for 12th generation desktop computers; Base Frequency 2.5 GHz, 6 cores, LGA1700, DDR4 RAM and up to 128 GB DDR5. Price 123€
